Auto Glass
There are different types of glass, brands, quality, etc. The main focus for American Auto Glass Inc. is to insure that the installation is done in such a fashion that the structural integrity is not compromised when the installation is completed, we use OEM quality parts. When you are paying for a policy that says you should receive OEM parts, or like kind and quality that's what we feel you should get, and we help you with that process. Many insurance companies use call centers to field calls dealing with auto glass and they not only want to process your claim they want the job also. Many of these call centers have their own retail shops and often tell the insured misleading statements read off a computer screen that are not necessarily true about American Auto Glass Inc.'s warranty pricing etc. This is called steering in our industry and is a huge problem in today's auto glass world. If you have a second or even third car or truck that needs glass replacement, there are numerous options dealing with cost. We can get aftermarket glass that saves you a little money, again our big focus is on the safety of the installation after completion. Some aftermarket parts can have excessive contamination on them that can hinder the bond of urethane and primers. Rock Chip Repair Rock Chip Repair can be performed if the chip is not to large, dime size nickle size are usually okay but getting closer or even larger than quarter size sometimes is not the best way to go. Replacing a windshield or other urethane part in a vehicle is essentially easy we think: you take it apart, cut out the glass, and put one back in and put it back together. It can be that simple in some ways, however the important parts are the retention of urethane and primers ( what actually holds the glass in ). Of course when we are finished we want it to look like has never been replaced! The main reason that we hear a customer say they don't want to replace the windshield in their vehicle is because they have had a bad experience with a prior installation from a different auto glass shop. Our answer to that is - try us and you'll never use another replacement facility. We take tremendous care in insuring the installation is text book. Custom Shower Doors
Each shower door collection has it's own function, look, and cost considerations for different applications and amounts budgeted for! All collections have different thicknesses of glass and styles for the headers and framing. The collections are made to a specific dimension for every shape and size of the opening. The difference between Agalite brand custom shower doors and the big box stores are the higher quality metals that last much much longer because they have metals that have a better anodized coating. It is very, very important to remember to call before you go ahead with your project. Sometimes customers call us to come out to measure a completed tile job and there isn't enough support to hold certain applications, mainly dealing with the 3/8" and 1/2" estate collection. Some home owners have had to rip out what was just tiled to add the proper support and in some cases, the owner has had to select a second choice. Plan ahead and call us first.
